A dance soloist presents himÂself: neiÂther dancer nor choreÂoÂgÂraÂphÂer, anecÂdoÂtal, sinÂguÂlar, masÂcuÂline, under a body that he has made exotÂic by sinÂgling it out on the outÂskirts of the GerÂman expresÂsionÂism. So he conÂseÂcratÂed the exotiÂcism of his body like, but not to be conÂfused with, the othÂer dancer wrapped in rhythm, colÂor, stoÂry and perÂcusÂsion. None of them would claim to be âexotÂicâ for all that.
